I'm finding that I actually hate driving. I find the excitement I once had when I received my first car at the age of 16 has diminished to resentment when I have to drive anywhere, especially when it's a long distance. Don't even get me started on driving in rush hour traffic. I think it may just be my laziness.

For all the drivers out there, do you actually enjoy driving? Or prefer being the passenger?

I hate being the passenger when I can't control the music too! I especially hate it when me and the person have different musical taste. It's like, uhhh, I have to endure this for the next half hour!!!

I especially hate driving people around, or giving people rides. If it's just me, then that's okay..but I don't like being responsible for other people's lives.

Me too. I hate when they assume that I don't have plans. It's like they be thinking, "Hell, let's ask Kiera, I know she ain't got shit to do!" Wrong. Bus stop right down the street, help yourself.

I just started a few months ago, I hate it and love it. Sometimes I get lost and thats when I wish I was a passenger. Otherwise I'm cool with driving.

i like driving. i find it fun, but then again theres times when i'm so tired i just wish to be the passenger.


i guess it all depends on the day. there's times when i just want to drive because i sometimes don't trust other people driving me around. and there's also times when i want to go some place and know the fastest ways to get there, but i'm only the passenger and the driver wants to go the way THEY know. i mean, i guess i could understand that because when you're driving you want to know where you're going. but still. i guess it all depends on the day, whos with you, and where you're going.

I love driving. I think part of it though is that I have a new car and my acceleration is amazing. I love driving on major highways and interstates, and the NJ Turnpike. I just get a big thrill rush. The only place I dislike driving in is the Holland Tunnel, but I'm not sure anyone enjoys driving through that.

well, i dont have my own car yet and my dad wont ever let me borrow his precious lexus..so if im driving, im either driving with him or begging my friends to let me drive. and when im driving with my dad, im always scared of the road. so, if im with my dad, id rather be a passenger. but if im able to drive by myself, i like it better.

i volunteered to be one of the drivers for PALs class last year & had to drive my friends to these elementary schools 4x a week. at first it was fun, but then towards the end of the school year, i got real tired of it - waiting for all the ppl that rode with me to get back to the car, the gas prices, dropping them off at nearby restaurants if they wanted to eat during lunch...
i didn't mind driving, but wasn't used to having all their lives in my hands, i guess.

I'm generally okay with driving and I do tend to enjoy it as long as there's no traffic or no idiots on the road...
Sadly, that's quite rare.

I hate driving because im always driving with my man or with friends...and they are so bloody loud...

Yeah...I used to love driving. But it's like I'm a chauffer for my friends... And then I have to pick up my sibs from school and get groceries, etc. It's not that fun anymore!

I like driving cuz I get to control the music :D But I end up driving so much that I appreciate being a passenger too :D most notably because I don't have to put miles on my car or pay for the gas being used :D :D

I think I'm a HORRIBLE driver.
I got into 2 car accidents. (first one was just a sideswipe and then the second one was a.. Tish Bone..)
So I get really tense when I drive.
So I love being a Passenger.

But there are the occasions where I wish I was a Driver. Like when I'm about to be late or something.
Okay bad example, I wish I just had a car, so I can drive to places instead of just depending on people or trying to find rides.

I like driving, I get nervous for some reason and really excited at the same time, I have a 2008 toyoda matrix, I love my car

I like to drive. But that's mostly due to the fact that I recently got my permit... I don't even have my license, haha.
