As your standing on the balcony, seeing the rain fall, you know the safety of the roof will always be there.
But it's not. You were sitting on the swing, watching the storm hoping it would go by. BOOM,BOOM, you hear the cracks. You see it fall, the thing that ended it all. you know it's over but you do not move. you just stand there, knowing you will lose. You hear her screaming "COME BACK! COME BACK!" But you still don't. Just standing there you see it come down. Just From the lightning, you are dead, on the ground |

i like it =]
im not sure if its a poem though, doesnt have a steady rythem to it. but its a great beginning to a story or a novel =] |
