I've heard this song a few times now. I guess I just miss the part with Jay-Z in it. _unsure.gif

I hate the beginning where Jay-Z is in it. But other than that it sounds great. I love her new look. I.E. the hair. Her hair looks great.

Chris Brown is in the remix and because he and his voice are so hot, it automatically cancels out her voice, which seems to grow more annoying throughout the otherwise good song. _smile.gif

QUOTE
When the sun shines
We’ll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
That I'll always be your friend
Took an oath Imma stick it out 'till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we still have each other
I like how she sings these lines. The ela ela umbrella etc. part really annoys me though. It's really not a bad song, just not something I would put on repeat.

I love the video. It's modern yet old fashion.

i'm not saying its a bad song or anything, it's ok.
but i was over it before i even heard it play...
i could just tell it would be one of those songs that'd be over-played on the radio...

I heard the remix with Chris Brown is good.
I loooove Chris Brown's lyrics in the song though; they're cute.

It seems to me that most rap and hip-hop songs these days are popular because of some little gimmick that people remember, like the umbrella thing, or like "ballin!" and stuff like that, rather than people liking the song because they like the song. That could just be my misconception though.

But yeah, don't like it.

I never had a problem with it.

Although I didn't think she was saying Umbrella. I thought she was singing, "I'll keep you under my arm forever."

Which I thought was sweet. Lol.

It's one of those songs that I know I shouldn't like, but that I'm completely in love with. Usually, the "ella" parts would piss the hell out of me, but really, it's just amazingly catchy.
