 ok so i made my friend a picture for her myspace on photoshop cs2 .. and when i upload it .. and it moves little purple dots pop up all over the picture ... i tried resizing it .. but it still didnt work .. anyone know how to fix?

Hm, that's odd. I don't use Photoshop, but it might be how you saved the image (Optimized is always best) or it might be where you uploaded it to. What site did you use to upload it to? Or was it just one that she uploaded to her myspace pictures?

Is the full version like this, or just the preview/thumbnail? MySpace does a horrible job resizing any sort of animated image. The version you upload and view at 100%/full ratio will always look fine... but if it's being used in anything else - comments, top friends list, etc. - and is thus sized down, MySpace tends to throw a bunch of pink/purple specs all over the image.
Now, if the real/full image is covered in the specs, then you have something of a problem. Otherwise, there's not much you can do about the whole resized-animation ordeal. |
