Today i saw a bird aiming for some food/object to eat. However it wasn't edible and so it kept spitting it out, but kept wanting to eat it. Which made me think, is it easy for you to get what you want?

I'm going to give this more thought and answer my own question a little later.

I guess for me, anything that money can buy, yes...
I have my ways of making money, so I'm pretty good finacially.

On the other hand, abstract ideas like happiness, achievement, and love, I have to work hard at.

Any material object that I want, I usually don't get. Mainly because I live by the support of my parents and most times cannot afford the things I want.

Especially when it comes to "cool" clothes.
Usually, I can just get better clothes for cheaper at Ross. :P

Materialistic things I usually don't have too much of an issue for, unless if they are big objects (like a car). I'm usually really tight with my money.
There are some other things that are just out of reach.

Not always. :(

I have basically always been spoiled considering my parents have enough money for me to live a good life. I'm not saying that I'm filthy rich, but I know that I take for granted some things in my life like shopping sprees, paying for extra classes that I personally like, affording a ton of extra junk food, etc. So, I guess in my situation, it's pretty easy for me to get what I want, as long as it's not too much.

Ditto. _smile.gif
I think I could get more of what I wanted if I only asked my parents.Idk, I don't like asking them for things. I usually just get it for Christmas or my Birthday.

Depends. Material stuff, sometimes...I'll eventually get it if it isn't something crazy expensive.

As for other stuff, it can be difficult...like freedom from my family. pinch.gif

hmmm, it's not always easy to get the things you want. Material things are easy. But, if we want something like someone's attention or affection, it's not that easy. so, it depends. whistling.gif

Honestly, I do easily get what I want - but that's only because I want so little now. Lately I've chosen very, very carefully if I 'want' something.

I saw a bird eating a worm a couple days ago...hah.

But no, it's not easy. I want a lot of things, but I can't always get what I want. For material possession, I can always ask my dad or save up $$. But for everything else I have to work for it.

Yeah I can always get what I want innocent.gif Sometimes it just takes a little longer like when I wanted a kitten stubborn.gif .. but I adventually got it a few months later biggrin.gif(Im getting another kitten at the end of this month but my parents dont know it yet haha omg.gif )I can get things like phones, ipods and those kinds of things for free because my dads friend owns a best buy so we have connections happy.gif I guess you could call my parents a push over because they always get me what I want.

I know I sound like a little spoiled filthy rich brat but im not. Im not saying im poor but im not like filthy rich. We would probably be considered rich but anyways.. I take alot of things for granted like the love from my parents, the things my parents go out of their way to do, clothes ect.

Call me spoiled but when it comes to materialistic things [if its within price range] my parents end up getting me it.
