I think I'm going through that right now, and I'm 16, turning 17 really soon. However it's not to that extent as mentioned in the first post. But I do feel like a rebel at times when I just don't want to care about anything, and also wanting to party and get drunk and all that good stuff... Gone "emo" many times this year because of schooo/stress, too.

still foing through it. i would have to say it started when i was about 9, i was very rebellious. when i was younger than a teen i kept everything to myslef. when i got older, i spoke up. i got angry very easily (and still do). but then again that could just be pms =]. anywho, people were so shocked by my sudden change. and i kept saying i was always like that. they thing i've "changed" when i have not changed what so ever. but that could just be the adolescence in my head talking.

sadly no =( but i bet 80% of my school [jr high] has. i'm only entering high school though. so i still have my chances. i probably will this year [freshman year] or next year because i'm getting extremely curious -.- plus. I'm starting to think about sneaking out & stuff.. so yeah. ;x its just that i don't do it cuz im afraid my mom will beat the f**k out of me. but next year i dont think i'll be as scared because of friends? lol. idk its just some feeling.. that i wanna do. and usually when i wanna do something, i get through to it eventually

Hmm... I don't think I ever went through that. My parents weren't really that strict. I mean, they didn't care if I drank as long as I was at home. When I turned 18 my dad handed me a beer and said that 18 should be the legal drinking age again. That was the legal age back in his day. As for the few times I did drink without my parents knowing, it wasn't to really disobey them. I sure as hell never wanted to get caught and luckily I never did. I was just a bored girl living in a small town where nothing went on and I just happened to have a friend who was able to sneak vodka with her.

I come from a family of rock and roll fans. So rebeling would actually be pretty stupid and pointless. Plus I did most of my schooling at home, so I wasn't really around other teenagers to help pressure me into things. Which I'm quite glad I never had that experience. I don't think I would be the colorful person I am now if I would of had that experience.

Wow, that was a lot of babble coming from me. Humm... ermm.gif

Yep me too, lots of brawls going down around the house.mostly because my mother is a hardcore christina all of a sudden and I listen to alot of Metal.and how I can stump her using the bible also pisses her off.

Coming home an hour later than you're supposed to be, questioning your sexual orientation, letting your hormones get the best of you, wanting to get crunk and stay out late, disobeying your parents and all that jazz. Sound familiar? Just as you would see those bad rebellious chicks in the movies, there are many in real life as well. Are you one of them? When did you go through it, if you ever did? laugh.gif

I don't think this is anything like a midlife crisis... This is the fun of being a youth. Having no worries and partying with your friends. I am 18 and I still let my hormones take control and I still party. It's just living life. It's fun, and I want to have loads of fun since you only live once.

Off-topic, but not really: Why is the question, "Did you go through a teenage midlife crisis stage?" with a poll when 1.) Midlife is in your 40s, so "teenage midlife crisis" doesn't even make sense, 2.) Before you were a teenager means that you weren't a teenager; therefore, it's not a teenage or a midlife crisis. Therefore, only two poll selections relate to the subject. And moreover, why is there even a poll when the question begs the poll answers, anyway?

When I was about 13-15. I had way too much worries than a normal teenager would have.

midlife crisis? Odd way of putting it, the examples in the first post..of course everyone goes through most of those stages.

I can't think of specifics.. I ran away from home once. Or well I got to the road and the drunks were outside next door so I sat on the porch for a few hours.

I would say 13-15

Haha. Yeah, I have. At the age of 12-13, actually.
This guy I liked, he liked me back, didn't want to date me because he wasn't ready. I was "depressed" for MONTHS! laugh.gif

As for staying out late, I did recently. I went to go work with my close friends at school for a lighting job for a Folklorico Concert, and I was supposed to be home at 10, but I got home at 11. My mom didn't really like it because I was with two guys in a light booth at night. xP

Well I think that I did when I was 12 I just didn't want to go to school I got my Mom to let me stay home for a week when I was in Middle School. All though I was never truly rebellious and I am not rebellious now. So in the end I am not sure if a had a or am having a Teenage Midlife Crisis. you should have not sure as a choice in the poll.
