Some dumbass kids who got a hold of guns are shooting up my block and the park down the street. I hate that shit. Sad thing is I used to be one of them. It's so pathetic how kids think it's so cool that their blocks get shot up, like it makes them ghetto, and therefore cool in their equally pathetic peers eyes.

Any shit about your neighborhood/city you don't like ? I hate how mines going downhill. You could walk your dog at 2 at night and shit would barely be happening. Now you got crackheads and rapists out around the corner,gangs fighting and shooting either, prostitutes working the corner and people having sex in their cars on the sidewalk.

Last I heard, a 14 year old is doing life for shooting someone and one of acquaintances who was 16 got murdered a few months ago. All gang related. Like yeah, everyone was sad at the funeral but them fools still gang banging. It's like they already forgot, you know. How long did they mourn the homeboy? Innocent people get hurt too. A little girl got hit by a stray in her leg when a beef broke out when a SUV started in front of a well known block. Nothing but fighting going on. And little girls now who look like they're hella old as shit are acting like hoes and hoes nowadays around here are pregnant and who knows what's the deal with their kids. My city/town got a real bad reputation.

Well my neighborhood has always been amazingly preppy, practically no crime or anything. But lately there have been some drug busts, and so people are freaking out. Oh, and I saw some *gasp* graffiti the other day! We have a graffiti buster team now because we've had a few graffiti incidents.

But seriously, the kids here are so spoiled, and there's nothing to do, so I don't know why everyone is so shocked about the drug thing. I also think it's impossible for a community to stay perfect forever.

Graffiti has run over my city. I love graffiti tho, I do graffiti. But the punkass kids who do "graffiti" in my town are little toys who don't know what the the hell they're doing and are only doing it cus it's in right now.

There's always some shit going down. I know a hella girls under 15 years old who have babies or have been pregnant, and who's baby daddies are in jail and all kindsa bullshit. And i know this girl, since elementary and she was always really sheltered and innocent, but she got a myspace and it went baaad. All of a sudden she was meeting up with boys she didn't know and sucking their dicks and she joined a gang ( and she can't fight for shit. My girl Pia who is a tiny ass little preppy valley bitch whooped her f**king ass ) and when they found out she was a fake they tried to kill her and now she's in hiding. Shit is so sad how kids think they need to gain respect by doing shit like that.

to be honest, other than the occasional Gallon Challenge at two down in the park, and a pink flamingoo stolen here or there, a couple of smashed pumpkins ,there're really nothing too bad. For the most part, its a good neighborhood.

Why are you judging her? Some people DO do it to be cool. People are out their tryna impress somebody. They want to establish "street cred" so people won't mess with them. That's how gangs started in the first place.

I used to live in the kind of area you describe, Bella. College Park. It's even gotten WORSE after I left. The worst thing is the cops are corrupt too so if anything gets reported (IF) it gets reported, they don't do anything about it. It's all about who you know. People would die on my block all the time and it would be just like that. Walk out to your damn mailbox, and hear gunshots. Driveby's, stick-up's--I was living on edge, afraid to even go to the freakin grocery store. So me and my family moved out, but my brother still lives there and I worry about him.

How im i judging her lol she says that herself. But people do it to get respect. Gangs didnt start because of street cred or because of people tryna be cool. Hey, the fact is kids can still do dirt, kill someone and do life. Some of these kids the topic starter was describing are seriously just ridiculously lame but nonetheless kids are impressionable. Combine that with my kind of environment, and you get kids that do nothing but beef, do what the older heads tell them to do and get nowhere.

BTW, I would love to live where some of you guys live when describing it as good neighborhoods. For you guys can't possibly imagine some of the conditions we've had to live through. It's not cool being ghetto or in the ghetto. For fun I'd take a flyswatter and go hunting for roaches (bored as hell lol) but it's sad when my little nephew is like oo a mouse a mouse kill it. Kids I grew up with are nothing like spoiled rich kids acting up.

Well at the middle school and high school we had soooo many bomb threats and the kids have gone to jail and one of the kids was in a few of my classes. We're having all thease younger couples moving in and throwing papers and things all over the road and tagging walls. Our city use to be really nice but now its turning into the ghetto slowly. They are dumbasses. Most the kids swinging guns around don't know the first thing about being in an actual gang. They wear the color blue and think they're a crip and run off at the mouth about it.
I wasn't that type of kid.
I was REAL. Jumped in rollin' with the mob everynight. Not no little teenager who wants to gain respect by throwing a red bandana in their back pocket and throwing up x4. I know so many little dumbass kids who got killed cus of that shit, and I don't feel sorry. Their fault. Don't get in what you can't handle, cus if you try to get out it's unlikely.
