I have a friend who lost her virginity to her boyfriend about four weeks ago. Now she's worried that she's pregnant even though they used protection. She was suppose to have her period today, but she's freaking out because she didn't, even though she's always irregular and her period never comes when it's suppose to. She says she's having symptoms, like her boobs hurting and stuff like that, but a lot of the symtoms for PMS are the same as pregnancy, right? Can someone help me out here? I don't know what to tell her. I just don't want her to be so scared.

Yeah. Symptoms for periods/pregnancies can both be shared quite often. Common scare. Just wait it out. If they used protection all should be fine unless the condom tore and he still came inside her.

The first time is the worst for girls. Everyone freaks out. I was always told if you don't want a kid don't have sex. Tell her to go get a test it helps the nerves calm down so she can get her period. That happends to me all the time. Stress makes my period come late. Tell her not to worry. If she does get prego just tell her to put it up for adoption. :-/

I don't think she should worry because she's irregular all the time, then maybe that's all it is. She's probably not pregnant.

stress can cause your period to be late.
she is probally causing alot of stress by worrying about the baby causing her self not to get her period.

I hate that.
When I lost my virginity, he didn't even cum because it hurt so we stopped and blahblahblah, and I was freaking out ... and it really got me stressed, so my period was late. Plus my period is never regular. So ... that's probably the problem.

There is probably nothing wrong, she is just freaking out.

Alot of the symptoms are the same for PMS/pregnancy. Her period might just be coming late because she has irregular periods. Plus, stress also makes you have an irregular period sometimes. The chance of her being pregnate is like 90% if they used protection. If shes so worried about her being pregnat why did she have sex in the first place. Since its too late to stop her just tell her to go buy a pregnancy test.

Wow, almost everyone's said the same thing. "Stress can push your period back", and "She shouldn't be having sex if she's not ready." Lawlz.

Tell your friend to take a pregnancy test. Getting her period doesn't mean that she's not pregnant. Lots of women have their period, while they're pregnant.

Pregnancy test.
