Confidence. Go over things that they would ask you i.e. what are your best qualities, worst qualities, if they asked your boss what the best part about you what would they say, what did you do at previous jobs, those 2 assuming this isn't your first job.

That's really odd, you're the second person on cB in two days to be interviewed by Build A Bear.

Basically, you just need to be yourself, and try and keep calm and smooth when talking.. the interviewers will be used to people being a bit nervous, and they aren't looking to make it wrose, if they're hiring, then they WANT to like you!

You'll be fine!

For Build-A-Bear I think you definitely have to be confident and outgoing because of the type of job it is, so just try your best not to let your nerves get the best of you. Like James said, if they're hiring, they want to find someone. Good luck!

I just interviewed at build a bear yesterday and the day before. I don't know if I got the job yup but be confident and try not to be nervous at all. BE LOUD AND OUT GOING AND ENERGETIC! At least at the one I applied too that was something they were looking for.

Being social is actually going to be apart of the job. Try not to say "I love kids" because adults go their two so you might want to stick with "I love being around people".

My interview was with a group of 20+ and but that was more like an audition. Then we had one on one interviews after. I was nervous like HELL yesterday and I regret it a lot because I could of shown my personality better if I wasn't. So try your best to be confident and out there. (Not weird out there though)

Good luck! hug.gif

Dude I love that place.

Confidence, honesty, don't let your nerves interfere with your presentation of yourself, positive thoughts, etc etc.

Good luck. =)

Take a few deep breaths before you enter the interview, and answer questions honestly.
Oh, and be confident. Even if you feel like you're a total nervous wreck, fake the confidence! _smile.gif Convince yourself that you DESERVE this job... and make sure you smile/speak clearly+loudly. Good luck!

Definitely be confident, but it's not completely horrid if you're a bit nervous. Just, be calm, and be yourself.

Don't try to act exceedingly happy, or cheery, you'll probably creep the interviewer out. Think about everything you're going to say, before you say it, and speak up.

tell yourself ur gonna make it.
and i always tell myself this when im going to make a public speech or interview or wtever like that:
oh it only takes 5 minutes. that means about 1/218376348 of time of my life? then thats just too silly to be nervous about it.
