is simple plan even rock?
ehh i don't like them at all. their songs are kind of whiny and their lyrics are worse. i like anberlin, 30 seconds to mars, emery and system of a down. |

It is true that a lot of good bands that end up hitting mainstream success end up on MTV, but not all people on MTV are good, they just look good so people watch the videos and buy their music based on that.
Linkin Park - middleschool and below Metallica - Black Album and before good, now they're a garage band Led Zeppelin - good Limp Bizkit - I'm so pissed Ima badass too Simple Plan - QQ Blink 182 - *shrug* not my cup of tea Another - Bingo. Dream Theater, Liquid Tension, Oswald Osbourne, Nine Inch Nails, Queen, Pink Floyd, etc etc. |

I picked Metallica. But it was close between them & Linkin Park.
They're not one of my absolute favourite bands, though. That slot belongs to Used, Lostprophets, Madina Lake, Alter Bridge and Paramore  But I do love Metallica. |

Eh, lots of those bands aren't from the same genre. Metallica is overrated. They play those guys everywhere and it's annoying.
