Both, but pad if I'm feeling lazy. I can't put in a tampon and not have a pad, it always leeks. I just like the tampon if I'm super heavy so it doesn't gett all clotted and what not.

I have a question I've been meaning to ask for a long time, why are so many girls afraid to use tampons?

Because it's daunting. Your a virgin, it's something your sticking in a very, very tight hole. It hurts at first, it feels weird. Am I putting it in right? Why does it feel this way? OH GOD AM I CROOKED?

It's not just like we can hold it and examine it. It's inside your body which is scary when your just starting. Also, there is a slight chance you could get very sick if you don't change them often.

I use Tampax Pearl, and I could never go back to using pads now.

Sometimes I actually forget I'm on my period, although I do always manage to remember that I'm wearing a tampon, thank goodness. laugh.gif

Definatly tampons - it means that when you're out with friends you're way less consious about it and you can enjoy yourself a lot more... most of the time you forget that it's even there.

Some girls are afraid because it goes inside you. Others are afraid because if you dont change it you can get TSS (toxic shock syndrome) and others are afraid it might get stuck.

Tampon. Way comfortable. Pads..ew.

Well the chances of you getting TSS are soooo slim, especially if you aren't an idiot and change your tampon.

I don't use anything _smile.gif

Muharharhar.

Hurm, so I was thinking, I think that companies should start making a suction machine to like extract all the blood and the layer of your uterus, so this way, there will be no need for pads or tampons.

And this thread wouldn't even exist. Theoretically speaking.

Pad.
My mom's against using tampons.
She's afraid I might lose my virginity that way.

Personally, I'm afraid of sticking things up there anyway.

I hate pads, they feel so disgusting.

I post earlier about tampons.
Ive tried some of my friends, they were a lot smaller and fit in pretty easy and i couldnt really notice it. But I went swimming for about an hour and I almost leaked..

Wow i cant believe everyone uses pads! I cant stand those, it gives me a very unfresh feeling. Plus it's annoying! And you dont feel tampons anyway, less chance on leaking, so i use tampons.

I've had my period for over 3 years, I got it when I was just about to turn 12 so I was very afraid of shoving anything up there.

I used pads until very recently when I finally decided I wanted to try tampons, I had tried tampons with cardboard applicators and they always hurt so it always scared me to try again until recently when I got the tampax pearl multipax. Those things are amazing, never ever going back to pads.
