Ever had something coming up that you knew was coming but didn't know when? Or did you ever know that something was definitely coming up, knew exactly when it was coming, but knew you could do nothing about it to prevent it?

I know what you mean. Or, at least, I understand a variation on the theme, which I suppose is as close as one is likely to get when the target keeps moving.

I always wished my brithday was Feb. 29th. Since I always forget about leap-years as it is, it would take care of the feeling of impending doom quite nicely. Or perhaps merely convert it to dread.
