i have ps6 and sometimes when i load it you can view what the brush looks like when you move it around. and see how big it is and exactly what it will look like when you place it. but other times you can't see any of that. it's just the little cross thing. it seems random to me. it just makes things difficult sometimes. any help would be lovely.

eh. it just does that at times. it probably depends on your settings of the current image which is open.

I had that problem too, and I never figured it out. Is there really no way to change that to make it more consistent? That cursor issue drives me crazy sometimes.

guh. i just restart the program or windows until it's the good way. but i really wish i knew how to fix it.
