so, the people that use facebook..have you noticed the new things added on it?

they call them, "applications."

you can actually add music onto your facebook site, play games, mess around with their "photoshop", etc. and it's all free!

i put music on mine.

I really don't like most (if not all) Facebook innovations, but I get used to them.

BOO, this sucks. They only play like a 30 second preview for the songs!
Wait, no, never mind. I get it now. I feel like a noob!

Just added the Games application. Apparently, the iLike application is terrible and only plays 30 second clips. Boo. :(

Going to have to search for the Photoshop one myself, but Diana, you can browse apps here: http://utoronto.facebook.com/apps/

Not even gifts? C'mon, don't tell me you don't like seeing (will edit this later whenever I happen to remember to check Anna's Facebook profile) on your page every day!

lol (Anna Wang). I have the gifts section collapsed, and the only gift that I've received is a thong from James (!!!!!!!!!!); I deleted the other gift I received, as I don't talk to that guy anymore. :P

Wow, A LOT of apps are getting bad reviews. Guess it's good I don't use Facebook much anymore.

I don't use Facebook, I've never been a big fan. My friends have Facebook, so sometimes when they're signed on I'll play around on it shrug.gif

I kind of liked facebook more simple and definitely without music because I don't want it to turn into myspace.

I agree. I think they are trying to be more and more like myspace, well at least have the personalization aspect of it, and I don't think it's working. Personally, I liked that Facebook was simple and direct, no shitty layouts and people's music to distract me.

Thanks for telling me. But the thing is that i don't think you can change your music to your own preference.

yes you can. you choose which song you want out of their list, or you can upload your own if they dont have it.

and it even plays the entire song.

Hahaha Obama app. Cool.

The Obama application puts the most recent campaign video and news on your profile and in front of your friends. It also enables you to easily communicate with your friends in early primary states where support for Barack is especially important.

And Rupture...wow.

This application will publish your World of Warcraft character pictures and statistics onto your Facebook profile.

I added the iLike to mine, but I took it off after a day. All these things will make Facebook too messy eventually. =/

Ugh. Seriously, I don't like them AT ALL. Facebook is just turning into Myspace now. I don't like how everyone has five billion apps on their profile, and it takes a ton of scrolling just to get down the the comments. sad.gif

Actually, I don't like any of the new things Facebook's been doing. It makes it way too complicated. It was better when it was simple and clean.
