So since I moved to Davis last year, I've noticed that I've started using a lot of slang terms that I never used to say to the point where old friends say that I 1) sound hella white-washed and 2) talk like a dude (sometimes) by the way I talk now. In fact, I hadn't even heard of some of these terms being used before I came to Davis because I apparently missed the memo (e.g. sketch [for sketchy], legit, the general dropping of any syllable after a sh sound [sesh, short for session, soc, short for sociology], and a plethora of terms for smoking/drinking/being inebriated/high).

So ummm what slang terms or just phrases in general have you recently picked up and been using? If the meaning's not apparent, please explain it to us. :)

SLANG DEFINITIONS
Solutions - Derives from a CBer by the name of Suzzette. On May 26, 2007, Suzzette released a recording dissing none other than the infamous K to the C. In one of her disses she goes after KC's catchphrase "Salutations I'll be your host for this evening" , but soon fumbles over the word like a running back and accidently says the word "Solutions". Since then the word as proliferated and become a phenomenon.

Basically it slang for salutations.
