Yeah, I've never had raw cookie dough. My mom would be afraid that I'd get salmonella or something.

I've only had the Ben & Jerry's variety but... cookie dough definitely is on my top ten ice-cream flavors list.

tic tac.:
Dashi - One of several simple soup stocks considered fundamental to Japanese cooking. Dashi forms the base for miso soup, Japanese noodle broth, and many Japanese simmering liquids.
Panko - Bread crumbs used in Japanese cooking for coating fried foods. They're coarser than those normally used in the United States and create a deliciously crunchy crust. Panko is sold in Asian markets.
Mirin - An essential condiment used in Japanese cuisine, with a slightly sweet taste. It is a kind of rice wine similar to sake, but with a lower alcohol content. A small amount is often used instead of sugar and soy sauce. It should not be used in excess however, as its flavor is quite strong. It is sometimes used as a sushi accompaniment. Mirin is commonly used in Teriyaki sauce.
Ponzu - (alternately spelled ponju or ponsu) A citrus-based sauce commonly used in Japanese cuisine. It is very tart in flavor, with a thin, watery consistency and a light yellow color. Commercially available ponzu is generally sold in glass bottles, which may have some sediment at the bottom. Ponzu is traditionally used as a dressing for tataki (lightly grilled, then chopped meat or fish), and also as a dip for nabemono (one pot dishes) such as shabu shabu. It is also used as a dip for sashimi.
Katakuriko - Katakuriko starch is often used as a sauce thickener. It may also be used to make tempura, especially when a need to quickly fry ingredients arises because the normal cooking process could damage them through too much heat.
Tahini - Ground sesame seeds used in cooking.

Go wikipedia! Haha. Just curious, are you making tempura? +I'm sure you can find all these ingredients in one of those Japanese grocery shops.
