lol does she have that close of a relationship to her mother that she has to tell her? i'm very close to my mother and i don't really think she'd be all that happy if i told her i was having sex with my boyfriend. there's just a line i guess? just tell her not to do it... ><

No don't do that for her. I'm sure a mother would rather hear something like this from their own daughter than from a friend of their daughter.

Don`t tell her parents for her. It would be pretty awkward anyways?
It`s her body, she should have to face the consequences for her own actions. Her parents deserve to know that information(?) She shouldn`t go through life having to regret anything. |

ummm my best friends mom told my mom about me having sex
but that was last year, and i just now found out that she told her. i was actually really mad that she told my mom that. my mom wasnt mad or anything at all. she was very calm about it and we actually started talking about it like it wasnt a big deal. my mom just doesnt want me to get pregnant [which is why i am on BC] but i think you friend should tell her own mom, not her friend. a mom would probably want to hear something like that from her own daughter. if your friend is scared to tell her mom, then at least get her on birth control. you dont need a parent to do that at least she will be staying safe. |

I think she should tell her mom herself...why exactly she'd want to do that is strange to me, mind you my parents are very strict, but anyways...just tell her to sit her mom down and have a serious conversation with her and somehow tell her herself.
