Woah, you got yours pulled out at the age of fourteen. blink.gif

I'm almost 16 and still haven't. I think it may be a little while before I do actually go and get them pulled out. I know plenty of people that have had them taken out and they said there was no real pain after it was all done and over with. I think it may have been the medicine they gave them though.

^ I think alot of it depends on how deep/large the roots are, their size, and how close to the surface they are. I have a really small mouth and larger teeth... and mine were really deep. pinch.gif

I had mine pulled out the summer before last, a week before my sixteenth birthday. The first day wasnt too bad, but it all went downhill from there. I couldnt even eat cake on my birthday it hurt so bad.

Well, I didnt really "get" through it... I just slept 95% of the time for the first 3-4 days. Did they give you a surenge? Because food easily gets trapped in the holes from where they remove the teeth. If the food stays in there, they'll get infected. They didnt give me one until I went in two weeks later, after complaining that my mouth still hurt . I dont see why they dont give people one to begin with. But then four months later, my mouth started hurting, and it turns out I had an infection. So they had to put me under anesthesia again and I guess operate, because my holes were already closed up. sad.gif

So make sure you keep them cleaned out! lol. wink.gif

I'm 18 also and I haven't had mine pulled out.
My dentist actually says I need my bottom ones pulled out but he told me that about 3 years ago and I still haven't done it.
I just really don't want to go through the whole aftermath of it.

I'm 16 and I haven't gotten mine pulled yet.
I'm hoping it stays that way, really. Most people I talk to complain it's so uncomfortable.

I'm 17 and still have my wisdom teeth. My best friend was 16 when she get hers removed so I'm still a little confused on when they are SUPPOSED to come out. I guess it's different for everyone.

Yep, I think it is. If you regularly go to the dentist, he/she will let you know when its time. They can tell by looking at your xrays.

I'm 16, and my dentist says I need to get them out sometime this summer... not looking forward to that.
especially since I know my parents wont let me take the pain meds. And the only good part about getting them out is the Vicodin.
