When it comes to hearing rumors or having a friend or people you know backstab you, are you the kind to confront them about it or just let it be? Are you the "rather have the original source" or the "I don't need them in my life" type?

I like to be sneaky about it. I find things about them they don't want others knowing, and I mutter it around them to make them worried. That or I just completely blow them off, and when they go "wtf whats wrong with you?" I just go all out on them.

I'd have to basically go with Steves answer. If they wanna be immature, then w/e. I definitely just kick them out of my life. And when/if they ask why, I'll straight up tell them.

Confront, confront! That's like one of the only things I don't use tact at ALL with. Like..if I hear it, I will be in your face in less than a minute. If you're gonna be a bitch, don't be a fake bitch! ![]() I guess that's the only option when you can't delete what people say or suspend them offline when you know you're wrong. |

I normally just cut them out of my life, really. And if they ask what's up, I'll tell them what's up... |

I'd ask around my group of friends, then I'll probably just be like, hey I heard you were talking about me and deal with it there.

Depends on who it is and what they said. |

At first I would try to ignore their bad behavior, figuring it's not worth it to have a fight. But if it got really bad, I'd want to know why. It would depend but I'd most likely give them a second chance and put them "on friendship probation." If they did it again, I'd basically stop talking to them as much but not officially cut off all ties.

Yeah, agree with Toya^^
I have done both, but it all depends what they did/said etc. If it immaturity I will let them know. ![]() ![]() I scared the shit out of dudeA by confronting him infront of like 150+ students in class. I found it immature.. and we weren't talking anymore.. nor were we friends anymore.. just don't need that when we're in university.. I guess some don't like growing up ![]() But on a serious level.. it depends on what they done. |

It depends on the persons involved and the overall situation. I guess overall I confront but in a calm, cool manner rather than yelling and shouting out with my arms doodling every where. It's just not me.

I blow them off. If they had any real problem with me, they would be brave enough to say it to my face. People who spread rumors and shit like that don't even deserve to be confronted about it. Why dwell in that sort of crap when you can just let it go?

I usually just let it go.
I tried leaving two of my best friends out of my life completely, and it just really didn't work. We just kept doing hurtful stuff to each other. And all it really led to was a "friendship" circle my teacher had with like 7 of the girls in my class because we were all fighting and on different sides & whatever. ![]() But, we made up and we're the best of friends again. We confronted each other, and it really helped. I wish I could confront people like that everyday, but I just..don't. I try to forget about it. |

i would drop hints at first. then after a few days, i confront them about it.
nowadays, i think i just confront them straight up. there are days where i would just let it go. it's not worth getting a fight over. besides, i trust certain people. |

I am NOT a confrontational person, and it's hard for me to hold grudges. Life goes on. A lot of my friends find it odd, because I'm very sarcastic and talk a lot of crap to people, but I'm not the fighting type.
The only thing that really bugs me is when I have to listen to my friends complain about other friends. And they always sit there saying "I'm gonna beat her ass" and they don't even talk to them. |

I'm not the person to get all uptight about it. I just kind of leave it as it is. I mean, as long as I know people who care about me, that's all that really matters right? I also hate it when people try to act all hardcore on you when they hate you; when they talk crap about you behind your back to everyone they know, thinking they'll get the world to hate you.

That or I just completely blow them off, and when they go "wtf whats wrong with you?" I just go all out on them. That's pretty much what I do. If it's something stupid and not worth confronting them about, I'll wait until THEY make it something worth confronting about. Then I tell them what's up. ![]() |

depends on who. and my mood
sometimes ill confront them in front of people talk to them and make them feel stupid. or if they backstab me just for fun and popularity i wont give them the satisfaction of me being sad and just tell everyone he/she is not worth my time fussing over(: |

Ah yeah, mood plays a big part. If I've had a pissy day I won't hesitate to chew their heads off.
I kinda like being in that mood because I think really quickly and win like every argument I get into. |
