Gahh I hate layout jockers. >.< Seriously they need to get a life.

I've had to deal with a lot of jockers in the past. I usually just message them and tell them to put credit, take it down, or else.

And once, there was this girl who jocked my sisters layout AND her xanga blogs (wtf?). My sisters blogs were very deep, poetic, and about her life. I was pissed...
So I got a bunch of CBers to spam her comments until she decided to take it all down.
Hmm.. that was funnn.

oh yeah... all the damn time...
since my sites been up when someone doesn't go by the rules i have set for using my layout they end up on a jockers page on my site with what they did and their myspace account.

One time I had a person try to take my Myspace code and actually PMed me on Myspace asking how to change things in the code. Like I wouldn't notice my own code

LOLOL I've had that done before. Someone stole my email form code I have on my site. And then when it didn't work she contacted me asking why the code doesn't work. It happened to be that she forgot to change my email address in the form code and so all her emails were sent to me. It was pretty funny.

^ ROFL but sometimes it isn't intentional stupidity; they're just ignorant and don't realise jocking is against internet etiquette (otherwise they'd have to be REALLY brazen to dare to come out and ask you how to use your stolen code - it's like going back to a bank you just robbed and asking their advice on how best to spend the cash!!)

But I can imagine the blood boiling caused by someone aware of what they've done and having the audacity to ask for your help. And Kara, wtf?! Your sister's BLOGS too?? That's the craziest thing I ever heard. Talk about lacking imagination and creativity.

Hm. I used to create layouts for Xanga. I couldn't find the jockers myself but other people kindly did and reported it to me. They also jacked from other Xanga sites too, so we all spammed that person together. Forgot what happened afterward. I don't make layouts anymore though.

Also, I made a really simple layout, just temporary for one of my Xangas. I was checking my footprints and someone jocked my layout. It seemed weird though, seeing it was just basically plain black/white.

I love the people who submit exact replicas of layouts already on here Hahaha

I've had quite a few... one person IMed me and told me that one of his friends down there was claiming that she was me... that was interesting! And I had a couple people on Xanga claim specific layouts as theres, and same with Myspace.

I lmao when people try to use my Myspace layouts on their Xangas, which (apparently) turn out hideously disgusting.

Some of my friends would > View Source > and take my coding from my layouts. It doesn`t really bother me, but when someone copy/pastes my list of graphics onto their site and claim it as their own, it`s war! To stop them, I would just spam them, A LOT. (:

Ugh! Jockers=total hell.

The worst is my friend. In real life she's all nice and friendly, but on the internet, she thinks of herself as a queen. She always gets mad at me 'cos I'm WAY better than her at graphic design and HTML. So she's constantly cheating, stealing my stuff, and that of others. It's kinda sad when I have to lecture her.

But it was way funny, just the other day in Webdesign[an extremely pathetic attempt at a class taught by an incompetent teacher] She decided to jock one of my web layouts, tweak it a bit, and claim it as her own, but when the teacher opened them all on the big screen, she accidentally submitted my original site with her name on it!!!]


It was great really, and in front of the whole class too <3

Without going into too much detail, theres a member on this forum (i believe he's a mod or was one at some point) that has repeatedly jocked my ideas and layout structures for the past 3 years. I have confronted him about it many times but he just acts dumb. Eventually I just gave up because he's just too arrogant to admit hes doing something wrong. He hasnt jocked much as of late, because it's been years since he started designing and inevitably he HAD to develop his own style.
