Ok I know this sounds really stupid and weird but my mom wont let me get colored bras (I have all white but their not like old grandma bras or anything lol). I mean wtf im 14 turning 15 and I cant get a f****** colored bra? How gay is that? Does anyone might know why mom mom wont let me? Im thinking about just going and buying my own, but I want to hear what you people have to say.

I used to get all excited about buying cute bras and stuff, but now I've literally got, like.. 10+ plain white bras. And I feel like I need more, it's part of my everyday clothing, I guess. XD

Haha.
My mom used to be like that. Her theory was that underwear/bras are not meant to be seen, so why bother getting a pretty one? She thought getting me plain white ones would keep me out of sex and other "evil behavior." But now I'm older and don't listen to her anymore. |

aw.
i use to argue with my mom over that until i compare it to her wearing make up i asked her 'why would you wear make up if you have no one to impress except daddy when your going out?' and she replied with it makes herself feel pretty and comfortable inside meh and i somehow turned that into bras. |

I want you to know that white bras show through white shirts.
The only color that absolutely will not sure through any shirt is a nude colored bra. Then again, I have a light pink wireless iPex from vickie's secret, and it doesn't show either. Tell your mom that white bras can show through shirts and it can be a distraction. Ask for a nude colored bra - plus if the straps show with a tanktop, it's less noticeable because it just blends in with the shoulder. |

wow weird... uh, she probably just wants you to keep your shirt on =) lmao. but then again, idc what bra i have on... white isn't that bad...yea its not sexy but its a bra =). lol.
i would hate to be in your situation. i love colored bras. i just got a ton of them =) but i went shopping with my mom so i couldnt get anything to sexyy....i wanted a real sexy red one, but then she would ask questions.. |

weird? mmmm just buy one and wear it. see what kind of reaction she'd get. my mom made a fuss when I wanted to wear my first pairs of bell bottoms...but I didn't want that, so I made a point that I can were what I want cause I'm the one wearing it.

Thanks for all the replyes. Over the weekend my mom took me to get some new bras because mine like looked like they had been through a war. I didnt ever have to ask her anything because she must have seen me looking at the colored bras and she was like "pick out anything you want" I was like YAYY! I picked out a black one, white one and a pink with white poka dots :)
