We are, well, i'm more curious but never the less we still need, your input as to what type of contests you'd like to see here at CB.
Lately, in graphics, we've had contests such as Iconing, Blending, Vector/Vexeling and Photomanip. Would y'all be interested in more of these? Have a new idea? Do tell. Please! |

ICONS, again, I think I might participate, vexel contests are pretty awesome, we have amazing vexellers in the community.

^SRSLY. I uhhh...wouldn't be able to particpate in a colorization contest, but I LOVE looking at them.

The Iconing sounds like a great one; especially animated icons - I can't get enough of a fix of those on Livejournal at the moment.
I think all of those are great ideas and it's not necessary to have more of one than the other; they're pretty much graded levels of competency with the image editting programs. I'd rank them as Blending, Iconing, Colourising/Photomanip and then Vexel/Vectoring, so different standards can still take part. |

icons sounds nice
but Colorization , or Photomanipulation appeals more to me |

The photomanip contest fell through, which was sad.
The icon contest was hella fun. But yeah, I'd like to see a colorization contest.  I'll try to think of a really unique contest, how bout that? And then edit this post or something. hahaha |

Give me some ideas as to how you'd like an icon contest to run.
Such as: Themes? Icon one of these images ( I (or someone else) would choose the pics)? Colors (Base an icon of off a color?) Idk, I need some input guys.

I would like to see a themed photomanipulation contest, but not the "last photomanipulator standing" thing like last time. One submission round, and then people vote.

Hm...themes?
1) Vintage - Give your icon a vintage-y old feel to it. 2) Springtime - Have some sort of element of spring in your icon. (i.e. flowers, clouds, etc.) 3) Celebrity - Make an icon of a celebrity, and have it look...glamorous? Add some pizazz to it. Those are a few I just came up with at the top of my head...I might have some more ideas later when I'm not so groggy from my allergies. =_= |
