Do you wake up in the morning planning to build up from yesterday's activities like a building block? Or do you live like yesterday never happened?

Depends on the events I suppose, but usually I build up.
If I did well on a test or if I accomplished something worth working for, I'll use that to strive for greater achievements and build up from it.
If I fail miserably at something, I'll try to work harder and accomplish what I know I can achieve. Kinda like learning from your mistakes.

I rarely wake up wishing my day was like the day before. I try to make each day a new start, because for me, rebuilding each day would be like building a house on sand. it would crumble eventually. I work harder to correct my mistakes though, and when I do something right, I try to implement those things in my day.

A bit of both.
If there's something I want to accomplish that I started on yesterday, clearly I'll continue.
If there's something horrible I want to forget, I retain the experience and never do it again.

Definitely agreed. It's a mixture, depending on what happened the day before.

There are days where I cant remember what happened the day before and there are days I dont want to remember the day before and there are days when I want to relive the day before(like going to see Alice in Chains: peep the avatar, Jerry Cantrell motherf**ker) and there are days when I just don't care about the day before(like today, Im not gonna care about any of this tomorrow). Im sick of getting drunk, Im too lazy to smoke weed, I hate working, I hate watching tv, I hate the fact that Im expected to do anything. I wonder if being catatonic is any different than the life I lead now....

I try to build up.
Like, I make plans as to kind of "continue" my day from the day before, but it never works.

So usually, I just live like yesterday never happened, although I always plan on..not. Lol, confusing, but..that's me.

Same generally...well, thats what I try to do anyways. But yeah, basically it depends on what happened the day before.

Depends. If I had a bad day the previous day I try to make things better the next. Otherwise its like it never happened.

Always building. If it's bad, I remember it and what caused it, and I try to avoid it. If it's good, I try to do everything better.

Funny, I was just writing a note to myself about something similar.
I always want to live like tomorrow is a fresh start.
I mean, today was kind of a bad/slow day.
Tomorrow's going to be new for me. That's what I like to see.
With every new day, we can make a new step forward. Of course we learn from our past mistakes, but starting over is something fresh, something new. That's why each and every day is different and distinguishable.

Depends on what happened yesterday. If it was bad then I take any good from yesterday into today.

For me, I try to become stronger with each day I live in everyway. And I can say with confidence that I am becoming stronger and a better person.

But also at the same time each day is a new day with new possibilities.

^ I agree.
I don't like dwelling in the past too much, especially if it's a negative experience.
