Sure, its a lot easier to do than in person. So the question is...what are your views on making decisions online? Do you prefer it done in person or online?
I personally prefer in person. I mean...have you no courage? ![]() |

I've always thought that it was better to say things over the phone then sending someone a e-mail or talking over aim or something.
I think its wrong and a bit mean to tell someone something serious such as that stuff over the net. |

It's easier, but damn, it just shows you have no backbone.

Sometimes, I just have to... Not really because I want to, but because I have no other choice. Sometimes it's the only way I can get them to listen to me. They won't answer my calls nor will they speak to me in person. So.. basically it's my last resort. Of course, that's only if they're angry. I usually tell them in person or on the phone.
EDIT// O_O I just noticed I wasn't thinking when I typed that out. I meant I tell them online that I need to talk. ._. |

For serious issues, those need to be addressed in person. The other person could be able to tell better how you feel and what are your reactions/emotions. Other than smilies, how else can you express emotion online?

There are times where I wish to because its a lot easier and I'm a complete wimp. But now that I think of it, I wouldn't wanna be known as the ex who broke up with you online...

It's so much easier, but it always turns out horrible. I remember one time when I was younger, I sent a guy an email telling him that I liked him. And then, he forwarded that out to all his friends.

It's better in person since it's more personal and it shows you have some back bone. But sometimes it can't be helped if it's online or over the phone.

Well if someone breaks up with me online, I'd go to their house and attack them or something.
Why can't they just do it in person? If you're gonna hurt someone, at least be nice about it. Asking out is okay...I mean I'd prefer in person because I think it's more sincere. |

I don't believe in breaking up online. I think it's unexcusable, ESPECIALLY if the relationship has been going on for a long time. Of course, it's easier to type out what you want to say... but at least have the decency to make a phone call over IMs! ![]() |

If it's something involving a breakup or taking a break, it has to be done in person. Second best is over the phone. Doing something that personal should never be online. It's just lame, cowardly, and hurts the other person that much more.

If you both are serious about things....
Nothing should matter. No matter how it comes out, in any way or form, things said shouldn't matter. |

In person is definitely better. Doing it online just shows cowardice I think. I was dumped over email once...it sucked.

Howabout on the phone, what do you guys think about that.
I think it's a large step over doing it online, a LARGE step, as you're still having the dignity to talk to them in person, albeit you don't see the other person. But you still need to handle it then and there. Still nowhere close to in person though, but what would you think about breaking up/asking out/etc on the phone. |

Hehe:)
I got asked out by my ex online. And i ended it online. It wasn't a proper realtionship though. Neither of us were happy. For real, meaning relationships.. Then no way. Ask them out in person. |
