if u have a guy friend and u kno for a fact that he likes u or has feelings 4 u but u dont feel the same way bout him, do u act different around him? |

Nope. I'd be the same.
My guy bestfriend for fours years said to me recently "You know, I wouldn't be shocked if I fell in love with you. better not pretty yourself too much. Coz I might just right now." << his exact words. I just gave him a mean stare and said "try that and I'll make you hate me." he just laughed and ever since then I've been acting quite the same way towards him. and vice versa. I don't think you need to act differently. That'd be acting like as if you haven't been friends since before. |

Omg! That is so weird....I am in that position right now. It was really strange at first, actually, I still think it is, to know that he likes me. I guess I was more of shocked, cause I never thought of it that way. He's a nice, sweet, and absolutely adorable guy, and I think that me wanting a boyfriend clouded my actual feelings for him...which was that Alan was just a friend. Apparently, he's liked me for a long time, and has been wanting to ask me out. When he finally did, the night that he also told me he liked me, I said no...Not to be mean or anything, I just *sighs* let's just say it's a long story?

 yeah that happened to me...cept now we arent even friends anymore cuz he jus kept asking me out. and he would call like 15 times in a row cuz i didnt pick up. it was starting to become stalker status

It depends. If he constantly reminds me in ANY way but PURPOSELY...I'm going to act mean (50/50 unintentionally) and cold towards him. If he keeps it but I know he likes me...I'm going to act the same so there's no need to break the ice later on. It'd be for the best, I guess.

Yes, I kind of watch myself, making sure that nothing I say or do is misunderstood by him.
And it's somewhat awkward to know that I don't return feelings he has for me.

He's not stalking me about it or anything...and he's a good friend of mine. All my friends say that I'm going to regret this, maybe I am already? I don't know, and the thing is...he's going to high school next year, and I'm still stuck in 8th. So that's another reason why I said no when he asked me out

yeaa.. i guess i can say that i'm kind of in that situation right now. but it's even more awkward because i have a boyfriend, and my boyfriend knows him. i try not to act different because they're usually close friends of mine. and they usually just get over it after awhile.
