I don't get it. The latest Mac OS X is just as easy to use as a Windows machine, more stable than ever since it uses the UNIX platform, and it is by far Apple's best operating system to date.

While I'm running on Windows XP Pro without too much trouble, I would say Mac is better for video and music editing, the Safari web browser is excellent with no pop-ups, no spyware or viruses to cath (which mostly are written for PCs anyway), but anything else is pretty equal.

I want a 12-inch PowerBook however. Best notebook on the market.

I have a computer with XP Pro now but I eventually want to switch over to Macs. They have the reputation as the best video/audio editing and graphic design computers out there.

Neither. Linux PWNS both of them. I don't see how you can find Mac OS complicated at all.

I have yet to touch a Linux computer (since there isn't any pre-built, pre-loaded Linux PCs on the market yet), but what does it have over both Mac and Windows in terms of usability?

I heard Linux has a steeper learning curve than the other two.

It's not as prone to viruses as either one, Millions of programmers have helped with the project and best of all, It's FREE!

I like Windows better because they're easy to use. I get all confused with Macs but I have always prefered Windows. Yup...

do you mean a Linux distro? linuxiso.org will get you started. Pick a distro, download and burn.

if you mean linux programs, some come bundled with the distro, others you can for free as well, sourceforge is a great place.

Mac sucks too much to handle games but it has a nice way to upgrade....just pick up throw it out the window and go buy a new one.

I prefer Windows better, but it is just as easy to use as a Mac OSX, since (as Viggen mentioned) is better in picture/video editing with no popups in Safari! But I think Windows is less complicated in storage (folders, disk drives, etc.), and I've been using Windows for most of my life and am quite comfortable with it whistling.gif .

HAHAHAHA did you come up with that one? NO. You got it from that anti-mac video.

Believe me, Linux is the most customizable of all. You get to see the source code!

Windows and mac? You can't customize ANYTHING on there unless you actually messed with registary stuff and etc. But linux... just change the code, and you're done. =D
