in person is ALWAYS, ALWAYS better.
any other way could potentially make you seem cowardly. you aren't ready to tell them if you can't say it to their face. however, if you're already acquainted, phone would be okay. but not to like, pour your heart out to them. definitely use the phone to casually ask him/her to a movie or something. but save the real heart-to-heart stuff for when you're with them. |

and i guess if he flirts back it's mutual. i don't do the whole straight forwardness, it's not really my style i'm more the type to send mixed signals but i guess if i had to choose one of those ways it would definately be in person and second would be on the phone so if he does reject you he won't see you hurt. |

having a friend tell them is so immature... and really most of those options are.
In person and MAYBE over the phone are the only acceptable choices. Otherwise, you're just an immature little pussy. Needless to say, I'd do it in person... but then again, I dont necessarily tell someone I like them. I flirt with them, end up making out w/ them, then ask them out. |
