So I live in Japan and I fell in love with Royal Milk Tea (Kochakaden). Anyone else know about it? What do you think?

I'm also addicted to Lipton Raspberry Tea.

Tea is addicting, yes? (But I don't like straight up pure tea.)

Title was suppose to say: Milk tea is like a drug.*

It's basically what pandamonium said. And it's yummy. Royal Milk Tea is just one of those milk teas I can access from a vending machine. Either in a can or a bottle. But all milk tea is good to me.

Isn't this the kind of tea that's usually served with pearls (or bobas, take your pick)? Quickly's and Q-Cup serve a mean strawberry milk tea, I'll give you that much. _smile.gif

Topic title edited. (:

Yep, it is. I've never had strawberry milk tea. I'll have to try it at Quickly's the next time I'm there. happy.gif

And yes, milk tea is like a drug. One that tastes good and isn't bad for you. throb.gif

No, they're nothing alike.

To answer Steph's question, milk tea can be served hot or cold. Usually it's served hot, but with bubble tea it's cold.

Yep. happy.gif

I've taken to making milk tea after I get home from school even though it's normally a morning beverage. At least it's not caffeinated.

I can't get enough of it. I think boiling with the tea leaves taste more richer.

Tip: Milpitas QCup sucks, LOLLICUP opening up at Eastridge mall, and tea at UC Berkeley's Quickley's is 39 cents ;)

TenRen Tea is good too, better than TapX. Quickley's is okay.
Milk tea/boba fanatics ftw!
