I really can't see what rule it breaks though. We always see so called "violent poses" in PG-13 movies. Exactly what rule does it break again?

It wasn't the PG13 rule I cited, it was the Controversy Rule. Somehow that was misconceived. I thought I had it made it clear. I even talked about Controversy vs Debate in my response above.

Violent pose? Well, I would consider someone holding a gun, in a menacing stance a violent pose. Now of course things like, "menacing stance" is something of an arguable point. I'll agree with that. Really though, I think that you (or someone) should make a Debate topic about this. I think it could be a really good debate. Why would we want to make a debate? Pointless. |

I don't think it's pointless. I thought it would be a good thing. But ok.

Well I apologize for suggesting it then.
I thought it would have been good debate. |

Sometimes people should just abide by the rules and half a little faith in the mods and admins

But we have a topic in the lounge saying it wasn't...
But in that case, say another topic had a bunch of people complaining about controversy... you'd close it then right? |

But we have a topic in the lounge saying it wasn't... But in that case, say another topic had a bunch of people complaining about controversy... you'd close it then right? Except, that topic didn't exactly represent the reason. I'll try my best to explain myself here. The controversy wasn't that of just people holding guns, it was that you had created a topic for the sole purpose of posting pictures of Africans and then proceeded to repeatedly post pictures of Africans in gun holding positions. I had asked you not to, and instead of trying to communicate with me that you wouldn't be doing that exclusively, you just kept on posting them. That topic in the Lounge merely says, "So, apparently, the majority of people in this forum are offended by a picture in which a gun is depicted," which in all fairness, is taken completely out of context. |

Wait, so you knew what pictures I was going to post in the future? What did I say... law of large numbers. |

^ I think she meant when she asked you not to post pictures of school shootings, which included her saying the whole gun in a picture thing.
Therefore, you then made a topic called "Africans" and later posted a picture of a African holding guns in position and all that jazz. Concluding that she asked you not to post those pictures of that type, then but you did anyways. Now I never said I'm 100% correct, although I am trying to understand the conflict so don't jump on me if I got something wrong. |

Since you're myspace staff, you really have no say in this; and from reading what you've written, you don't contribute much either. |

It doesn't matter who people are, and insulting others isn't the best way to gain people's ears.

^ Then why don't you be the "better person" and not do what people are doing "around here"?
Since you're myspace staff, you really have no say in this; and from reading what you've written, you don't contribute much either. Actually, just because I'm a MySpace Staff doesn't mean I don't have any input. I'm still a member too and I have the right to put an input. Who are you to tell me I have no say in this? I've been watching whats going on, it's actually not hard to notice with all the commotion. |

^ Yes, but he doesn't have the right to say that I have no say in this just because of my member title.

^ Yes, but he doesn't have the right to say that I have no say in this just because of my member title. It's my opinion. You know...the concept called "my own thoughts?" It's alright if you don't understand...there doesn't seem to be much of thought around here anyways. |

Okay, So if I had no say in this, who says you do?
If I don't have a say in this, then you shouldn't. But that's just my opinion. |

Well, what you give is what you get. So if you start not caring about others opinions, others won't care about yours.
Seriously, if you want to get anything at all across, you are going about it in the wrong fashion. |
