i really hope there are early birds here. i have to swim for my PE exam today. I've been having my period ever since sunday and i've been missing all the past swim practices. And yesterday, my teacher said that has to be the last time I missed it because today's exam is mandatory and cannot be made up. It's retarded, I know. I can't wear tampons because my doctor said that my opening at the hymen is too small. >< yeah. Well, today, I only had a little blood so I'm wondering that if I see no blood for the next 2 or 3 hours, my period stopped?

whether or not you see any blood soon doesnt matter cause you probably are still on your period. they usually last around 5 days.

Tell your teacher the following:

"I have blood coming out of my crotch. What are you gonna do about it?"

Always works.

You really need to tell your teacher your on your period and that you cannot wear tampons because it medically restricts it.

Tell your PE teacher! She'll totally understand, especially since you can't medically wear tampons.

Since you can't wear tampons, just let your teacher know. I've never heard someone say they can't use tampons because the opening is too small blink.gif

Have your mom email or phone your teacher...
or you could always bring a doctor's note, I guess.

Trust me that WILL work, especially if it's a man. Once I was absent for a test and the teacher (man) didn't let me do it because I said it was for "personal reasons".. So he was like, "I'm not gonna let you do it unless you tell me WHY you missed it." So I said, "Well, sir, blood was coming out of my crotch, so you know.. I didn't reeeally feel like coming that day."

It's amazing how gross men think we are. He was SO shocked.. I tried to put it in the most disgusting way. Hey, it worked!

Ehh... today has probably already happened.

But..

Id be like "Im on my period, and my doctor I cant use tampons, so do you want me to swim and get blood in the pool and go dripping down my leg?"

Edit--

If that doesnt work be more graphic, and if your not embarrassed about it, talk really loud so people will start staring. shifty.gif

It's not a dot, it's a period.

You should've gotten a note from your doctor.

It's amazing how serious men get when you talk about periods. My gym teacher was really weird about it, like a period is some sort of disease. But it got me out of swim.

Did you think that I didn't know that? I just don't like it when people, girls especially are too embarrassed to say period. stubborn.gif

Have your doctor write a note to your PE teacher. I'm sure she'll understand.
