sad to say i was one of these "dumbasses". true, i didnt have the complete knowledge of sex at the time, but i learned from it, it was also, and still, my longest relationship ive had yet. you cant say everyone just barely turning into a teenager is ready or not to have sex, you do not know them. my friend was 13 when i first found out her parents already had her wedding planed to an older man, because this was their tradition. she was one of the few people who taught me anything about sex, my parents avoid the issues completely. you can judge however you please, cause that is your opinion but just because someone decided, or even think about child rapists. i read about the first page of this thread, you seem to have no respect for anyone losing their virginity by the age of 14.. what about children who didnt have that choice? what if they were raped? are you judging them harshly too? dont get me wrong, i respect my body a great deal. just because i lost it at 15, who i sleep with, who i let myself go with is still important to me. i want that to be special, cause even after losing your virginity, i think most people still at least respect their body enough to not hump everything that walks

^I'd agree... it's a lot less 'taboo' and forbidden of a topic than before, especially with media that portrays it as something really casual. I guess it's useless to try to impose upon an individual that it's wrong to have sex at a young age though; since it's your personal opinion, and that person may not necessarily believe sex is wrong too. The best people can do is probably educate teens about the consequences and how to use appropriate protection.

this thread is discussing that yes, but the thread starter seemed to have no respect whatsoever to anyone who have already lost it. it poped in my head while i was typin so i just wanted to point it out. just my thought, my insane night hours of rambling, you guys can ignore it lol.

I agree that those kids that have them at that age are dumb, but yet what can we do about it? We can`t go back in time to those who`ve had sex and make them undo it. We all have your own opinions, and I think that that`s what makes our world go `round.

I truly feel bad for the 14/15-year olds who has lost their virginity already. I call them dumbass losers because they've taken the wrong path in their life and their parents shouldve explained them better what to do and what not to do at certain times.

i know what u feel b/c i'm a Christian & i had a really close friend tell me she had sex and i was really disappointed in them. but she isn't a dumb ass, and neither are the people you know. they just weren't as fortunate as you to learn the morals that follow Christianity.

I'm christian but religion has worn down on me. I just.. bleh. I know, sounds bad, but I cant be bothered acting apon it now. May be a teenage thing- either way; 14 and 15year old.. nuh. Its too young in my opinion, no matter if they think theyre in love or not. Just too young, its not even legal at that age in most countries anyway. 16+ yeah.. that may be alright. Just depends how you view your BF/GF.

IMO I think that all of the young kids these days should just wait til they are atleast 16. But then again that is just my opinion.
It was a month before my 16th bday that I lost my virginity and personally I wish that I had waited. Im still with the same guy that I lost it to but I still wish that I had waited.

hm, well my mom was 13 when she got pregnant, so i think too young is bad,
but i think that if they really want to have sex and they think they are really ready to deal with the consequences of sex, then let them do what they want.
we cant just tell them they cant.
i waited till i was 16 and i think that 16 is a fine age to lose your virginity, but i wouldnt want my kids having sex before that.
if they did however, i would probably have them know what could happen if they didnt use protection and i would make sure they knew to use a condom.
but it is their choice, and we cant tell them they cant, even they are young.
