My hair is really staticy right now.
Like when I run a comb through it I can hear the static popping.
Is it safe to use a hair straightener on it?
It won't like catch on fire with it? haha.
Just want to make sure.

I think it'd be fine. My hair's static-y, and I use to straighten it a lot.

I have the same problem. Using more conditioner works, but to take care of it really fast, run a dryer sheet over it. mellow.gif no seriously, it works. Its that semi translucent sheet you put in the dryer to get rid of the static from your clothes. It works on hair, too. Try it.

I always find that straighteners make my hair less staticy... <_<

Ah, well no, you should be fine using them.

Wow, what would you guys think if I told you I use hair straightners. Well not at the moment since it's abit short to use them.

Oh, and it won't catch fire. Unless you doing something very, very drastic. Hair straightners are safe.

smoothing serum its in a purple tube and
use it when your hair is damp or dry
add a little onto your hair if dry
and put them it your hair when damp after washing it
and blow dry it
and then put heat protection conditioning spray
and then straighten it
=)

^ Pretty avatar :]

I'd use a leave-in conditioner before using a straigtener, with or without the static.

^I don't know any guys who use them but I'm sure there are other guys who do.
I know guys who've gotten their hair straightened before though...? Like at the hair salon. I thought it was a little weird, but I'm used to their new hair now.

And I say use leave-in conditioner, your hair sounds like it's pretty dry.

I don't think there's anything wrong with guys using straightners. Mystic....you're the only guy I know who DOES use them....but juu ish a cute little flower boy *wink*.
There's no strict rules for who can and who can't use them.

OH! And lanochka....yes...try conditioner. It'll help if your hair is very dry.

The mullet is the reason why people hate you. They are sick of looking at your nappy weed-sack. Nobody wants to look at you with that mullet on your head. Why don't you cut that mullet, you numbskull.

WesleyWillis, please don't memberbash.

I don't think you should...it might blow up. Try washing it first and putting some hair oil on it to keep it moist.
