That's what I thought but I think it's been squished by the monster of pointless myspace restrictions, all it does with me is delete all html in the field.

I mean if I enter the above code or similar and update caption, the code is deleted and does not take effect.

thanks for replying noemy. :)
i have been given that code before but it never seems to work.
i've made sure that the original link works, i just thought that there was another way people actually got music onto their pics page.

thanks again. :)

I found out why it wasn't working, Firefox does not recognise bgsound, it's not xhtml and has little compatibility.

EMBED would have been possible if the all the extra code wasn't added...not possible.

OBJECT would have been ideal, I thought I was on to a winner when I came across this:

CODE
<object type="audio/x-mpeg" data="yoursound.mp3">
</object>

BGSOUND and OBJECT could both have been added to seperate captions to allow for "fallback" html interpretation.
But it turns it any OBJECT into ".." Not very useful...

No idea what Opera or Safari make of any of this although I have to say, I'm not really bothered.

Any thoughts?
