have u asked the girl u want to go with??Tell me about your situation heres mine:
Im in a tough situation my friend is hot and she broke up with her boyfriend recently3 weeks ago they both moved on he already has another FRIENDGIRL and doesnt have a date, and she asked me who i was gunna go with and i said idk. But i didnt wanna ask back cuz i didnt wanna throw my self out there. Knowing that there was someone i wanted to take before. But theres this girl that i kinda like but shes just average looking.(sorry for being shallow ) And i would have asked already if i wasnt in this predictment. I would have more fun with the other girl thats a proven fact but i like this girl since ive known her so long. So i dont really know what to do. Risk asking my friend possibly over looks or ask a girl that im closer with. Its not all about looks? orly |

wow..that is extremely shallow my friend.
I mean people out there have REAL problems, like how the girl he liked already got asked, or how they knew who they wanted to go with, but desperately needed help on HOW to ask..........but you're asking, which should I go with...this ones Hotter than THAT one..DUH DUH duh... Go with the closer one, it would mean more to her, that is if you actually care about her/it/that. If you DO like the hotter one and want to go with her, ask her, it's fine. You just shouldn't be dumbfounded over something like this. |

^Then the 'hot girl' would probably be somewhat miffed, and the 'ugly girl' would be confused.
Prom isn't about how your date looks... it's about getting together with your friends before you all run off to college. If you friends would bother you for going with someone who's 'ugly,' even if she's a sweet person, then your friends are dumb. |

Its not all about looks? orly 1. you're attempting to get with a friend who just broke up with her boyfriend. you're not acting like a friend, you're taking advantage of the fact that she is "hot" by your standards and "good enough" to take to prom, and that she is not completely emotionally stable. how low can you set your standards. 2. you didn't want to throw yourself out there. then don't ask her, wuss. simple as that. asking any girl out has two sides to it: acceptance, and rejection. if ur not willing to take rejection, grow a pair of balls or just don't bother asking them out. 3. you think that the girl you like is "average looking". and based on the fact that she is "average looking," you're considering not asking her to prom. i really think you should think about whether or not you really like this girl or not, or if she's just some fling for a little while. if she was "hotter," would it all of a sudden make the situation different? think about how shallow ur becoming. 4. don't go with either. i personally don't think you deserve either. why? the "hot" girl doesn't deserve to be taken advantage of. the "average looking" girl doesn't deserve to treated as a last resort/"eh she's okay...but i guess i like her." -dustin |

Prom is supposed to be about having a good time. You shouldn't be trying to impress or compete with your friends. It's like a once in a lifetime thing, and nobody's going to care if your date was hott a week later

I agree with Dustin.
Might've sounded harsh, but it's the truth. You're stuck because you can't choose between someone who is "hot" and someone who you *think* you like but consider her to be "average looking". If you really like her, no matter if she's "average looking" or not, it shouldn't really affect you that much. |

oh i forgot to add is that i delayed asking the one i like because a friend of mines liked her, and hes really good friends with her and besides her he has nobody to go with and anyone else wouldnt be fun so yea. i hate how people f**king act like they were never shallow in thier life, thats why people have celebritys and models in thier profiles who've they never met and sure as hell you didnt put them there for personality cuz you never met them. Dont judge, me advise. |
