Err. I picked keep it.
But it would depend how old I was. Now that I think about it, Id probably put it up for adoption, it would break my heart, but still, it would be better for the baby. |

If I was a girl and that happened I would adopt/keep it regardless of my age and circumstances. Reason being like someone said, every baby deserves a chance.

If I got raped at this time in my life, deffinitly abortion. If I did after I was out of school it might be different. I don't know.
All the people I've met who were adopted (which granted is only a few but still) have had a very unhappy childhood with the adoptees so I'm not too thrilled about that option. I'ts better to get rid fo the pregnancy before it starts to develope into a baby otherwise there's a likelyhood it won't turn out to be the happiest person ever  especially considering the dad is a sick rapist. Who knows what the kid would be like?If it was my fault and I slept with some guy and got pregnant than that's a whole different story. |

i would put it up for adoption. idk how i would beable to keep the baby im only 16.. i mean and i would feel bad when i look at the child.. probably flashbacking to the horrible time and i wouldnt want that hatred for a child

I'm torn between adoption and abortion..
I chose adoption for the poll, though. Adoption is tough because how good of a family will your child get placed with? A family may look good on paper and in the interviews, but you never really know for sure. Abortion seems like the easier choice because it's only a visit to the doctor, then you're done. But I don't know how I'd feel after I get it done, though. Bottom line is I really don't know. |

(Though this thread is like 3 years old) I watched this video of this lady that talked about Sex and how it is better to wait because there are many things that Sex does to our mental self. I don't know what I do. I wouldn't be ready financially or emotionally to have a kid at this age. But personally I would never abort a baby.
 Putting it up for adoption is a choice, but ahhh.. I don't know. Hopefully this doesn't happen to me, cause I'd be torn by the decisions.

that is such a difficult and touchy subject. i honestly do not know what i would do because it's hard everyway.
with an abortion, why kill the baby because it wasn't it's fault but everytime you see the baby it's going to be a reminder so then you can say Adoption but with that you will always have "what ifs" and resentment. But then keeping it comes along with many many problems too so i don't know what the answer would be. I guess it would just depend on the person. |

wowzers! i guess u really dont know u would react unless u were in this position. i would give the baby up for adoption, i might keep it, but i definitely wouldn't abort the baby. an aborition doesnt make the pain of being raped going away, so why kill what may become the joy of your life?
