some people before tests and such really really need to study, others can just do their work in class, come in the next day/week and pass a test. what way are you?
me, i guess things are easy for me. i can stay home, read the book, do work, go and take the test and pass. actually, that happened recently in biology, i didn`t go for like a week, and the day that i did go we had a test.. suprisingly to me &&my teacher, i got the highest score in all her classes along w/some other people. weird. ;x |

It depends on the subject. When I took Government I needed to study just because of the material and the way the tests are. There are some classes that will have a review day the day before the test and go through pretty much all the questions on the test. There are some teachers who just pull the questions outta nowhere.
Sometimes I'll study. I have a 1st hour study hall, so that comes in handy so I can look over stuff. I envy people who can sleep through a class, not do homework, and then ace the test. |

I never study. I never have to. Studying makes me confused before a test. And well, it's pretty much impossible for me to learn by reading over things..
All I do is listen in class and take notes (that I don't really read over..) and I get 90's/100's. The charts and diagrams that my teachers hand out are pretty good too :D What's crazy is that my friend who sleeps in class manages to get really high scores too. |

Let's see usually i can study for a half an hour and i'll be okay. For Algebra I don't study and I always get A's. For my vocab in English I just study 10 minutes before and i get a 100. For Spanish 5 i have to study HELLA, that one sucks. But yeah I usually just study a little and I do fine.

Usually I don't need to study much, maybe half an hour at THE very most, but I might start having to because things are getting harder.

It depends what subject. Tests like ones in English or Geometry I can often ace without studying too hard. But things like Biology are such a struggle for me that I don't get a good grade even when I study that the hardest.

Well it depends on how important the test is.
If it is just one of .. those term ones I don't really bother that much, I'll have a quick flick through notes and that. If it's important, and affects what sets I am in for classes, then I'll take more time. (y) |

I study right before the test is handed to me. It's not a good method. But I have better things to do than study

Well, it depends on the subject for me too.
Since I am math and science nerd, I ace the tests without any studying. But for classes like history and English, I have to study really hard to...pass, which I rarely pass my AP history tests anyways. |

I barely study for anything now. I just rely on my notes and what i have heard during classes.

I don't really study. The most I do is go over some vocab or my notes right before a test or something.

Obviously I need to study, because lately I haven't been and my grades are horrible.

Usually if I get too much of a head start, I forget. Studying a day in advance is a-okay.

I used to be the type of person who could simply walk in a class, take a test and ace it without any extra effort but when you get into your junior year in high school and start juggling all these AP's, it all changes radically. So now, yes, I have to study for at least 2-3 hours before certain subject tests. But effort pays off, so it's worthwhile. ![]() |

It really depends on the subject. The more I enjoy the class, the more I'll actually absorb while sitting there.

^Oh so true. Also the more you enjoy the subject, the easier it is to cram.

I pick up things pretty quicky; if a subject interests me, I have no problem with it (e.g. linguistics, music, etc.). I never really studied before I came to college, and even still I don't study as much as I should. I had a chem midterm two weeks ago, and the night before I was getting REALLY frustrated and angry with myself because I just couldn't absorb/understand the information. Eventually I caught on, though, but yeah.. never really had that problem before.
