It's not showing up on my website, Talentified. It's supposed to be where the blank space is when you first go to the site (Blog)

This is where I want to put it:
CODE
<div id="content">

<?PHP
include("/cutenews/show_news.php");
?>

<br><br>

</div>

Plus if you click on another link, and then click on the blog link, the index.htm shows up and I don't want that, i just want the link to my site without the extension, like this: xoxmariah.com

but the blog link (index) is saved as .htm, but when I replace it with .php it says there is a server error. and i have looked at tutorials and forums for cutenews and none help. i have already been through the process and i made a test blog, but it wont let me go back to the test blog cause they said there is a server error and there is no index.php, and when i put in a index.php there is another server error!

you don't need the dash (/) before your extensions.

and in your Cutenews' index.php, it shouldn't have your layout.
( http://www.talentified.com/cutenews/ )
it should have a login page. ( http://magick.m3lancholia.net/cutenews/ )

Try <?php, not <?PHP; I think PHP is case-sensitive.

That's okay, if cutenews is stored at the root of his webspace.

I know that wherever the news is going to be, it should be in the webpage.php, but my webpage is the blog link which is where I want it. Here is the message I got when I added index.php to the sever for cutenews:

http://talentified.com/cutenews/index.php

How do I fix this? I want it to be in the empty space that pops up when you click on the website link (blog link)

Like I said, I need gudiance starting the process for cutenews instalation over

chmod is the security of files. Think you're the admin, and you choose what other can see and change.

In regards to the chmod suggestions: To add to that, the permissions of the files should be drwxr-xr-x (755) for the directories, and -rwxr--r-- (644) for all other files. There is a good tutorial here.
