If there's a subscribe link on your layout, just click that.
If not, www.xanga.com/Private/SubscribeTo.aspx?user=YOURUSERNAME. Copy that, paste it into the URL field, replace with your real username, and go.

When I do that, I get the following message:
"You can't subscribe to your own site! Looks like you're currently signed in as the owner of this Xanga site. You can't subscribe to your own site... you already get updates from your site, instantly, as soon as you write them ;-)." |

It's probably a new feature Xanga added when they upgraded the entire site. But yes, it was possible back then. Now, I guess not.
