For Girls: Do women find men who have a girlfriend more attractive than if he did not?
I think that subconsciously women may find men with girlfriends more appealing. The only reason I think this is because i have never had more chances to hook up with girls than when I had a girfriend, or was dating someone. Its like the girls can smell it on me or something. Do girls just think "Well at least someone can stand him, he must be a good guy" or does a guy with a girlfriend just act different? Guys: does this happen to you too? |

Hm, that's interesting. I think I've read somewhere before that when a guy is taken, girls will want him more than when he's single because of the challenge.
 But uhmm, I think that most of the guys I end up having crushes on usually end up being taken, but then again, I usually never know for sure whether they're available or not. & yes, I think guys somehow act differently w/ a girlfriend, depending on the guy, but then again, girls are usually like that, too.

I think it's true, to some girls, taken guys are more appealing.
For me, I just kind of think of taken guys as gay. If I like a guy, and he gets a girlfriend, I'll want him more. But, not if he already had one. Some girls are vicious though.

I tend to want guys in relationship more than when they weren't. ;\ It's weird. There are two guys that I was just friends with.. and they got into a relationship.. and I noticed how they treated their girlfriends and such.. and I wanted them so bad.. it's just all lust, though when you think about it. I didn't know before how they would treat me so I had no interest... but when I saw all the love they would give to the girl.. ohh man did I regret it so bad. They liked me but I was a little bitch.

well... i tend to be more realistic about these things.
i just don't go for guys who are already taken... because i know if i manage to get with him later, his ex will be furious. and all sorts of drama will happen. but i could see why some girls are attracted to taken guys... i guess it's kind of like, well if he has a girlfriend he must be awesome some way or another... |

lol, no. i don't find guys with girlfriends more attractive. that's just a turnoff for me because heck they're making out and doing things with another girl. what do i care? lol off limits for me. some guys that i don't find attractive aren't automatically going to become more attractive just because they get a girlfriend too you know? lols. ehh. that's just me. :P

I don't. First, the guy has to be likeable in the first place. And if he does have a girlfriend, it kind of depends who his girlfriend is actually. If she isn't really the best person, chances is the guy is either really desperate or isn't all that good anyway. And the bottom line is, if he has a girlfriend, you wouldn't want to be a bad person and steal him.
