my parents don't know that i have one. but once in a while they'd come upstairs to my room and go like "what's that?" and i'd be like.. "it's something where i can talk to my friends" and she leaves.
she doesn't go through my computer. but if it seems like i lie too much (like if i ALWAYS say i'm writing an essay) then she'll ask my dad to look in my computer  )

Hah, if my parents knew.. they'd probably blow up even knowing that I'm on cB at all.. I told them this was a forum for my friends. True, but they don't know they're ONLINE friends..

My parents wouldn't allow me on it at first, but I was like.. 14 then. They FLIPPED when they found out about it. Now that I'm almost 18, they could care less. They really don't have much to say in the matter anymore, either.

well shes just tryin to protect u but my parents know i have a myspace but i refuse to show them or i will get alot of shyt from em. ugh..but than again i have 3 weeks till im 18...if ur like 16 or younger, parents all up ur ass on the online stuff is understandable

my mom found out that i had a myspace today (thanks to my 'friend'
 ) and she's like.. "okay.. your profile is private..good. be aware of stalkers..and don't add any strangers.."it doesn't really matter though, because i only add people i know. |

i think this thread was made after the news report sooo with that in mind... my parents know i have a myspace, but they're totally against it. because of those news reports and sexual rapists, etc. they're against facebook too lol. they told me to close those accounts but obviously... i have not haha

my mom was really annoying when i first got mine but i changed the password so she couldn't get on it. One day though she walked in and saw i had a "bad word" on it and made me get rid of it. i put a different one on right after she left though...
