everyone had livejournal! EVERYONE! I didnt want to pay and I didnt have a code. Then someone told me about xanga and how it was so much better than livejournal. I started that. Then for a while I couldnt make new posts, so I opened a livejournal (they had abolished the code thing) and i HATED it.

Leave me propz kay?
I didn't want to be left out so i made one. _smile.gif

My friends had one in seventh grade and I wanted to join in on the fun, so I signed up for one in April 2004.

I started getting into xanga because it was like... a new internet discovery for me. Then I got into it after a long absence because I saw all the icon and quote sites there were.

I started Myspace because I wondered what everyone was talking about whistling.gif

Shouldn't this be in more in the Designers Cafe?

Anyways, what drew me to xanga was I got to make a blog.
It was "the thing".
Plus my friends who were older had them, so I was like... "okay."

edit- oh I realized this was made about a year ago. pinch.gif

Well I met this guy named Trent on neopets years and years ago and we've been friends since. He told me to make a xanga, myspace, facebook, gia online, and other accounts so I could look at his blogs/chat to him on other things besides aim laugh.gif

So I suppose that drew me in the most? I liked writing little journals too, that was nice but I'm not good at writing journals.

I was actually one of those "first" people to get it, before it got totally popular around here. I forgot how I found out about it, but one day I just made one. And no one really read it, but I didn't care because it looked so cool, having a "website" and everything.

I preferred typing rather than physically writing out my journal entries laugh.gif

And it's so hard to find a good hiding place for my journal in my house so the "Protected/Private" feature on Xanga is useful.

Xanga was the one place where I could go rant and no one would complain.

i'm not the kind of person to keep an on-qoinq diary &such. with xanqa i could keep my entries private and safe xP

i also qot into it after findinq out i had photoshop for so long XD
i qot inspired by some awesome sites like this one.
i learned my html &all that stuff after xanqa's so-called 'FAD'
