Do you like the photograph?

Is it informative enough?

Does the color scheme work?

Is the navigation bar, mmm, not-so-aestheticlaly-pleasing?

Do you have any suggestions? I know it's simple but I've invested little time into web design...

Thanks to those who give feedback

Psst! You forgot to include your link. wink.gif

Edit: The hover-over is awkard. I thought that your layout didn't load all the way, since it stops after the navigation.

^ Agree. And I think if you're going to base your layout on an image so heavily, you ought to do more with the image rather than just take a stock photo and use that straight. Also, your font choice on rollover doesn't really go with the theme of the image you've chosen.

I had thought about putting a bold arial-type font before I settled on the one I used.

I'm not sure how to "spice-up" the photograph. sad.gif

What about the background? Is it ok?

Do you have an image editing program like Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop? There are a lot of tutorials for either graphics program here on cB.

Awkward in what sense?

Hmm.. interesting. I didn't think it loaded all the way, and then I saw Anna's comment. laugh.gif
The hover-over is strange, it moves funny when you hover, idk if that makes sense though.
But its okay, really simple. happy.gif I do like the picture.

I went in my little office to use that computer earlier and my hover image wasn't loading properly; however, it loaded properly on my computer.

Anyone have an idea as to what may be wrong with that?

Different browsers?

No. I use SlimBrowser on both PCs.

In detail, what exactly is the problem with the hover images? Are they not aligned properly? Are they not popping up when the cursor is hovered over the link?

The problem I had on PC#2 was the image sort of fluttering when I moved the cursor over the link.

I did, however, fix the bottom of the page.

The hover thing is a really neat idea, although it leaves your layout looks really blank and empty. The hover thing is kind of glitchy from switching to one to the other at times too.

Try adding more content? I think that would be for the best. Its good though.

Oh, to add: around the links its a bit pixel-y. Perhaps try and fix that?

I think I've finally fixed the hover glitch.

I'm working on adding more content as far as my interests go.

I'm going to design an entirely new navigation bar for the page.

I'm probably going to end up doing a complete makeover; I had a fairly decent trial-and-error experience.
