I think I would be able to give up pork and chicken, but not so sure about cow. I love my carne asada. I tried giving up meat for my major religions class at school, I lasted a week. Longer then I expected!

Close, but not so much. I don't really eat dark meat, I've reached the point that it makes me sick if I have to eat it.. I eat chicken though, thats it. I've never exactly liked pork. I think the main reason I ever did it was to be healthy and then after a while you just get used to it.

I’ve been a vegetarian for a year and half now. I actually started a week before Thanksgiving. My reasons are simple: I don’t like the taste or consistency of meat and I believe the way animals are slaughtered is not only against nature, but is inhumane. I eat lots of vegetables, cheese, and fruit. I try to eat all organics, but that can sometime get pricey. Living in Texas it’s hard to be a vegetarian, especially since my friends are such carnivores. I manage though and they’re pretty supportive. happy.gif

Actually I became a vegetarian by accident when I was 8 or so. Before I didn't know that meat was from killing innocent animals. cry.gif

I was dieting for a long time by just eating vegetables and no meat. Later I just couldn't eat meat anymore.

I was for like... a week. But then I realized that if I didn't eat it, it was just going to waste, and that's even worse so... yeah...

I want to be, but I've always eaten it... it'd be hard to change. And even if I did stop eating meat, my parents are still going to cook the same amount of meat for dinner, regardless if I'm eating it or not.

But maybe when I'm older and on my own.

I'm kinda semi-vegitarian.

I never really eat red meat,
and only eat chicken and fish maybe like
once every 2 weeks now.
I do it more for health and stuff. . .

though right now i would kill for chicken sandwhich.
[sorry]
