probably because someone took the name that they originally wanted but they want to keep it so they can remeber it and they put something else that they wanted in the other one.

I really don't know

Ok. Here's how it goes.

You know how people register but then later, they want to change their name? Well, instead of completely unregistering that user name, they can simply keep it and change their display name so they don't lose their old posts and keep their PPD, PM's, and what not. Changing their display name will change the name seen on all your posts, even previous ones. Get it? tongue.gif

didn't it come with cB3? because when I first registered in June 2005, it wasn't there.. but when i recently registered under this username it was..

but to answer your question, yes my user & login names are that same.
