You don't need to wear a pad.. i recommed a panty liner if you're really worried.. but be prepared! When i got mine.. we were on a field trip.. and it was kinda heavy.. I had to make one out of toiel paper and paper towles

everyone is completely different on when they get their period
i mean usually girls carry purses just in case.. and yea.. ^oO i feel so sorry for you i was lucky it was on the weekend and i was at home woo.

hmm you should keep a pad with me everywhere you go, but don't wear it because it's really uncomfortable if you wear it everyday. i don't know how to really explain it, but you kind of feel it once you get it, i usually get cramps.

You don't always start when your Mum did. My Mum started when she was 11 and I was 12 when I started mine. My mates Mum was 16 when hers came and my mate had her first period when she was 12. Sometimes when your Mum started can affect when you do...

Put one in your purse.
Dont wear one all the time. Maybe just the liners, or extra light. Your first period is always SUPER light, so you wont have to worry about leaking as much. Hm. I think I got mine earlier than my mom, but it all depends.
