I have a habit of saving/downloading things if I really like them, especially if they're resources even if I may not end up using them at all. It's nice to browse through when you're looking to be inspired to create something.

I was looking through my folders and I have 66MB on textures and gradients alone, most of which I don't use at all anymore.

Today alone, I saved at least 10MB of stock images which I'll use for just eye candy. They aren't really stock I can use; they weren't free so I was stuck with small, watermarked images.

i do that all the time too. I just save a bunch of stuffs, and i'll say, "i'll use it one day." But i never got the chance to. Like i have a bunch of cg arts that i want to use for layouts.

I do that too. If i see an avatar, banner, photography, anything..I tend to save it just to look at sometimes. But there will be times where I'll put it into some of my layout works.

i have 1 giant textures folder with just around 40 big textures, and 300+ icon textures. i just dowloaded 10 yesterday.

i use to go crazy with images... same with brushes... now that i make layouts i slowed down a lot

i have a internet folder with the stuff i make, the icons i used that are not mines, and resources i also have a folder with like random pics of bands, movies and actors... just to have them... sometimes i'll used them for layouts

my "Photoshop" folder has 1,183 files 112 folders about 367 mb in size
each folder has the site url and if i get patterns, textures and brushes then in the site folder are folders for each type of resource i get from that site

I do that all the time! Though recently my computer crashed and I had to reset it, so all of it is gone...

I save thing's I like and probably would never use, lol, so many brshes, LIKE I'm a HUGE photoshop brush collector, HEHEHEH

I'm pretty sure every designer has "eye candy" of artwork other designers have created. We look at them for inspiration and creativity, building on what we see.

So yes, I definitely have scrolling worth of downloads, textures, brushes, and etc. even though i never use them. I look at them to make new creations

It's better to have them than be sorry later when you want them though. Like when Peach Blushes, or something, went down and all the resources from there went, loads of people were annoyed they hadn't saved them? I try to be efficient with the types of things I save; brushes have a few main categories and you know there are ones you will use over and over again and others which are more specific. But yeah, know the feeling of just going through someone's stuff and loving all of it and just saving everything.

i always save sites that have pretty graphics,brushes,textures, etc.

I have a huge assortment of stock photos, brushes, and textures. I also just have things saved from the web that I find and like. I recently had to burn most of this on cds because it was taking up too much space on both of my computers.

I have so many bookmarks of brushes and textures I've found like on dA.

Usually, I don't ever use them again. >_<
