Ever wake up extra early just to make sure you look great before you head off to school? Do you spend a while thinking of how you're going to respond to someone before you do it?

Of course i like to make sure I look in decent condition before leaving the house. Yes, there are times when i care what others think. Who doesn't care, even though they might deny it? Looks do give off first impressions.

No, I wake up so there is about 10 minutes or less for me to get ready and walk out the door. I really don't care what people think of how I look, if they really want to take the time out of their day to talk about me behind my back about how I look that day, so be it. I've always just look at it as, If your happy with how you look and you feel confident enough to go on about the day then your doing just fine.

Uh, I try to match. I somewhat care what people think. Basically as long as I'm happy with how I look I'm pretty much satisfied. There'll always be people who don't accept you.

For my physical appearance, I don't care all that much about what others think of me. I take less than 15 minutes to get ready for school every day so it's not like I dress to impress. I just make sure my clothes and hair look decent.

Personality- and rep-wise, I care on some level about what people think of me but not to the point where I'm always self-conscious. I used to care a lot more about what people thought of me, but now I just want people to be okay with me, if not like me. But if people do dislike me, well, I won't go out of my way to change their opinion of me. People are going to think what they want to think.

I care about how people view me, obviously. I really don't think anyone could honestly say that if a bunch of people thought something really awful about them that they really wouldn't care. No one ever wants to give off a bad impression. Of course, I'm not trying to give the impression that I'm something I'm not, I just want people to know who I am and then they can think what they want.

Ahh the beauty of college; everyone is damn lazy. I really don't get ready until after class and I go out. I agree with Holly about confidence. Most days I feel good enough about myself to step out with just some mascara and jeans on. I take about 5-10 minutes each morning to get ready and maybe around 20 during the weekend. I don't really feel the need to impress people, I have a sparkling personality haha.

Everyone cares about what others think, to a degree, because sadly enough, it's what makes the world go 'round. Unfortunate, but true, and sometimes first impressions are all that you get.

EXACTLY what I was just thinking.

I think on eof my strongest assets is my sense of who has power (and may be willing to delegate some of said power), and who I need to care about me and to be impressed by me. Everyone else can take me or leave me, but they ARE going to get me full on.

I DO care a lot about my importance, but that's because I care a hell of a lot about myself. Like Sandra said, it's a self respect thing.

I don't want to look BAD, but I dont wake up extra early or anything. I don't purposely try to look my best. I do agree with what Anna said. To some extent, yeah I care. But Im not going to go all out and make a big deal about it, unless its for something important (ex: job interview).
