i like the blinky stars and words on alot of peoples avatars and banners and xanga title headers at the top of their xangas. i have photoshop so if anyone could show me how to do them i am a very creative person. and any program that i could get for free i will be willing to download. i love to design and id love your help! thanks to all you pros for giving me inspiration!

I believe there is a tutorial for ImageReady in Webdesign -> Tutorials. If you have Photoshop now you should also have ImageReady so you're set.

Paint is just for really really really low quality images, and only does stationary stuff. |

ive tryed all of the popular animations things but i find that the best one is animationshop.. i found it by downloading paint shop pro and then just going to file then down and it says other jasc stuff or soemthign like that and there it was.. i usd it to amke alot of icons.. and its really simple
