I used the Blog CSS posted in the MySpace Help section on the forum as a base to change my mother-in-law's blog look. I only tweaked things such as background, font, etc. (minor stuff).

However, the Blog Subject and Time Stamp above each blog post won't show up. The only way you can see them is to highlight the area with your mouse. In addition, posts that consist of only one line of text are doing the same thing.

I've tried everything I can think of, and don't see anything in the code that would cause this to happen. It's driving me batty trying to figure it out. It's probably going to end up being something stupid I've overlooked, but can anyone help?

Here is what the CSS currently looks like:

<style>
body,xmp,p,div {
background: url(http://usera.imagecave.com/mrsaddair/pat10.gif) fixed;
font-family:large fonts;
text-transform:none;
font-size:14px;
color:#FFFFFF;border:none;}

b,strong,u,i,em,s
{ bold, underline, italic, and line through }
{font-family:medium fonts;text-transform:none;font-size:10px;font-weight:normal;color:#FFFFFF;}

table.main
{ left side module }
{background-color:transparent; width:450px;border:1px solid #FFFFFFF;font-family:medium fonts;text-transform:uppercase;font-size:10px;color:#FFFFFF;}

table.main TD,table.mainTR
{ the inside of a table }
{ set the font style for table }
{background-color:transparent; border:none;font-family:medium fonts;text-transform:uppercase;font-size:10px;color:#FFFFFF;}

table.nav

Try it again. I change the general privacy settings that she had set to Friends Only. Is that the right place to set Blog privacy? It's the only thing I saw.

Can you view it now? I've never even posted on my own blog, so I only guessed about the general privacy settings controlling your blog viewability.

No one have any idea what's causing this? I guess I should add that I pasted the original code in before tweaking it to make sure the code was good, and it was doing the same thing with the Time Stamp, Subject, and one line posts (see bottom two blog posts) before I ever edited the code.

If no one else is having a problem using the code, I can't imagine what would be causing it, as everything showed up normal before using the script (when the blog was set to default).

Meh...I guess no one has any idea what my problem is?

That's my luck. Everything I touch turns into something nobody's ever heard of happening before.

It's not working because there are two codes in your source, The one you posted and another one that has "#000000" as all the font colors. ermm.gif
Try finding the other code, and taking it out.

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you soooo much. I looked at the source code and saw what you were referring to, and the only thing I could figure was the MySpace blog settings were overriding my style sheet. Sure enough, After I changed the hex codes for the general page settings, everything started showing up.

I just assumed when I put in my own CSS, it would negate the other options on the page.

You have saved me from certain insanity.
