A lot of females do things to make themselves pretty. Make-up is usually the first step in 'fixing' your face.
I wear make-up everyday, and I love it.

well actually there's been studies upon studies upon studies about what 'men look for in women' youth, beauty and health are among the top few because, even if it's subconcious, it means that they will make good babies. lol

A woman with perfect skin is most likely healthier than the one that isn't. A lot of it is inherent in our nature. Being attractive makes people like you, which is a self confidence boost. Women do it because looking good makes them feel good. And the ideal 'good' is set by men, who like it because it is a sign of health and youth. The term pedophile refers to someone who is sexually attracted to pre-pubescent girls. Not 'baby faces'. BIIIG difference.

and i wish i wasn't like that, because i am so lucky to have the skin i do.
it's kind of like a safety blanket... i feel better when i wear make up.
i don't wear a bunch of it though, just concealer, mascara, eye shadow.

The reason why I wear makeup is because it makes me look older(well my age really...I look freakin 15-17!) But not alot though.

Light eyeshadow to prep the liquid eyeliner on the top lids so it doesn't smear from oil. But I keep it thin cuz of my asian eyes(I have the lines/creases there though). Then I wear a bit of mascreca so it makes my pretty eyes even prettier!

I have to wear this foundation thingy daily cuz of my acne(covers up,makes pimples smaller, keeps from getting face oily & makes scars dissapear)

So yea...I pretty much look O Natural except that my eyes are more noticable. But to answer your question: to highten the features we like & to cover up the ones we don't

It's all is subconscious.
Most girls do it to look good.
Some do it to hide flaws.
And alot do it to just play up some of their striking features.
Like everyone tells me my best facial feature is my eyes. So most of the time I don't even wear makeup. All I do is put on some eyeliner to just better show-off the shape of my eyes.

Women wear make up because it enhances their features. And it makes them feel less self conscious. There's nothing wrong with wearing make up. Trust me, most guys don't even know when a woman is wearing make up.
